Company History
GREEN LAKE SURVEYING COMPANY was founded by professional surveyor Robert Gleason Bruce (S-900) in 1980. He had his professional practice in Green Lake County until 1984. Samuel T. Mullen (S-0981) purchased Green Lake Surveying Company in 1984.
Sam brought his vast surveying knowledge and expertise to Green Lake County from Yukon, Canada were he surveyed for eight years. Sam previously surveyed in Adams County, Alaska, Dane County and Door County. Sam also founded Ripon Land Surveying and was also the Green Lake County Surveyor for eight years. Sam practiced surveying in n Green Lake County and also worked in Fond Du Lac, Marquette, Winnebago and Waushara Counties.
Sam sold his Ripon Land Surveying Business in 1996 to Dennis Green to concentrate on working in Green Lake County. Sam retired from the Green Lake County Surveying Office in 1997. He is a well known surveyor in Green Lake County. His professional and personal career has brought great praise and admiration from any one who has had the opportunity to choose Green Lake Surveying Company. Don Lenz, the new owner and professional surveyor, took ownership of Green Lake Surveying Company in 2006 and continues to offer the highest quality land surveying and mapping services in Wisconsin to landowners, developers, attorneys, real estate professionals, title companies, banks and many others.
Don has won first, second and third place honors in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2008 at the Statewide Mapping Contest sponsored by the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors. For more information about Don Lenz, please click here.
